Welcome!

We're so excited you found us!  Whether you're a seasoned gardening expert who has been wrist deep in compost your whole life or someone who  just got their first  patio pot and have no idea where to start, Tualatin Valley Garden Club (TVGC) is the place for you. There is no experience required; we only ask that you bring a love of plants and your community. 

Prospective members are welcome at any club event and we encourage you to check out the specific upcoming gatherings on the Events page of this site. Regular club meetings occur on most third Mondays of the month when there is not a specially scheduled festival. The club calendar on the Events page will have updated locations for those specially scheduled festivals.

For regular club meetings, the club convenes at the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro at 7:00PM. Regular meetings generally last between one and two hours. Please note the entrance to the club meeting is not through the front doors of the building and you must enter off of NE 2nd Ave (see image).

Not sure you're up for the hassle of chasing down a meeting? Please feel free to stop by our booth at the Saturday Hillsboro Farmers' Market in downtown Hillsboro during the summer (see image). We'd love to meet you and answer any questions - about the club or your garden!  

Should you decide to join TVGC, annual dues of $20 per household are required - to be paid during the first two months of the year. For members joining during the second half of the calendar year, the membership dues will carry through the following full calendar year. 

Full membership will allow for members to sell produce through our farmers' market stall, enter into the many raffles and giveaways throughout the year, maintain growing space at the club plot at Sonrise Community Garden, and receive all club communications about upcoming events.

There are no attendance or mandatory time commitments for membership. Members are always welcome to attend board meetings and volunteer to lead different committees and club responsibilities. If you have a particular skillset, we'd love to have your contributions on our leadership committees!
